Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Can you send a picture of your balded scalp? That could help me analyzing your case specifically and I'd be of better help.
There are a few things to be considered when it comes to baldness:
- cosmetics: hair spray/colorings can weaken the hair.
- Bad type of shampoo can also be a cause. Try herbal shampoo that are designed specifically for falling hair and depending on your scalp properties (oily, dandruff, etc.). I have recommended minoxidil shampoo to my patients for a short period of time until the hair starts growing. Then, can continue with herbal shampoo on daily basis.
The way you shampoo your hair matter. Avoid putting shampoo directly to your hair. Dilute it first with water and then, shampoo your hair.
- avoid keeping your hair tight when they are wet.
- lack of vitamins: You can continue viviscal until improvement. Do not expect to get fast results, as hair needs time to grow.
- diet: apart supplements, you can take the necessary vitamins for strong hair through the foods/drinks you consume on daily basis. Some of them include : walnuts, salmon, sweet potatoes, lentils, spinach, (Greek) yogurt, eggs, berries (blueberries, strawberries, etc.), oysters, etc.
You should consume all types of food, but these are highly recommended for healthy hair as they contain the right nutrients for healthy hair growth.
- Hormonal imbalance can also be a cause. You can ask your doctor to run a hormonal balance to see if any unusual changes and to start proper treatment.
As you may see, first, find out "why your hair is falling and causing baldness". Depending on the cause, specific treatment might be advised to improve your hair growth.
At the end: have you have done a lab analysis of your hair and scalp scrapping to evaluate:
- damages to the hair and its root
- to exclude fungal infection that does not allow hair to grow
Hope it helped!
Looking forward to have the requested picture in!

Hi back XXXX,
Thank you for following up and give more clarifications about your query!
If this is your case, then, if I was your caring doctor, would advise as following:
- tatoo (there is a risk for hep.C)
- wearing extensions
- old style head scarf that will fit to your clothes
Hope it helped!
Thank you!
Yes,it would;should talk to experienced surgeon...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,
Yes, hair transplant could be an alternative, but, need prior evaluations first involving the current condition of the scalp.
If successful, it will cover the dots. Basically, hair transplant consists in moving hair and hair follicles from the hairy part of the scalp to the balded part.
It is a surgical intervention that needs to be repeated if no hair is grown. As for any other surgery, it carries its own complications like: scarring, bleeding, infection or no hair growth at all.
However, you should consult with an experienced surgeon specialized in hair transplant surgery. He/she will determine if hair transplant is the best choice for you and what to consider in your case.
Hope it answered to your queries!
