Suggest Remedy For Body Rash, Fever And Black Stool After Taking Antibiotic Treatment

Question: My husband had what he thought was a spider bite, went to the doctor and was put on an antibiotic for it. After 10 days he developed a body rash and reaction. He also had a fever and flu like symptoms so he went to the doctor again. They took him off the first med and put him on Doxycycline and tested for Lyme disease. He got the results yesterday, positive for Lyme. Our biggest concern is that he has black stool, is that a serious concern? Or is it his body trying to adjust to the allergic reaction to the first drug and acclimate to the new one?
Brief Answer:
Get done stool microscopic examination.
Detailed Answer:

No, black coloured stool is not due to antibiotics.
Most common cause for black coloured stool is bleeding in GI (gastrointestinal) tract.
So better to get done microscopic examination of stool to rule out blood in stool.
This is not allergic reaction to antibiotics or acclimatization to antibiotics.
