Brief Answer:
Is the wound open or closed? Could you attach images?

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I would like to first ask the most important question here sir:

+Is the wound an open wound? Meaning is there any fluid oozing out, any bleeding, any flesh seen, etc.?
+Are you comfortable with attaching a clear image of the region to our discussion so I can examine it and not ask you any more questions? If you are then you can either attach the image to our discussion here, or if you cannot find that option then you can email it to me at:

YYYY@YYYY

Please make sure you mention 'ATTN: Dr. Shoaib Khan' in the subject line so it can be directed to me.

I look forward to hearing from you in order to guide you further.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Good to know, following are my suggestions

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.

It is good to know that there is no open wound or fluid oozing out, if this were present then it would leave your genitals susceptible to infections which would further complicate your presentation.

Following is my advise:

+Take a sabbatical from sexual intercourse and masturbation for at least the next 2 weeks
+Apply a cold compress to the region for the next 2 days and then a warm compress for the next 7 days at least
+Wear loose and comfortable inner wear
+Use a cold cream or calamine lotion over the region
+Do not remove hair from over the region for the next 2 weeks
+Do not go about any strenuous physical activity that can cause friction to the region like cycling, football, jogging, running, etc.
+Avoid all activities that can cause irritation to the region
+If the presentation does not improve in the next 5 days or so, then purchase hydrocortisone cream and apply to the region twice daily for a week

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
