Suggest Remedy For Bumping Sensation On Back
Question: When I inhale deeply it feels as if something is 'bumping' my back inside where the right kidney is. It is painless but distinct and came on suddenly two months ago.
Forgot to mention that, if I place my hand on my back where the bump sensation is, I can feel a muscle contraction.
The sensation is similar to being kicked by a near-term fetus.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Looking at the clinic history, my opinion is as follows:
1. Bumpiness with muscular contractions over it appears to be a intra-abdominal mass.
2. If the location is over right kidney, an intramuscular tumor or a renal tumor needs to be evaluated.
3. A mildly XXXXXXX lesion possibly the lipoma could give the kicking feeling.
4. Get an ultrasound abdomen or if possible an FNAC of mass. Discuss with your doctor regarding the above investigations. Do get it done at earliest.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
