Suggest Remedy For Burning Sensation Due To Gastritis

Question: Everyday after waking up, I feel my stomach burning. I have gastritis. What can I do to prevent this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Brief Answer:
Take PPI for 2 months
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Stomach burning is usually related acidity.
1.Do you consume alcohol?
2. Do you smoke?
3. Do you take regular pain killers?
4. Do you use tobacco in any form?
In case the answer to any of the above question is yes then you need to stop taking that.
I would suggest you take a PPI (Proton pump inhibitors) like pantoprazole or omeprazole every day for 2 months. This is over the counter medication.
This should help you with your gastritis. In case your symptoms persist by the end of two months you might need further investigations like endoscopy.
Hope this helps
