Question: Hello sir, both the kidneys of my aunt is damaged upto an extent of 80%
wanted an opinun on the case

Background - Suffering from epilpesy since 30 years
Madication - 1 dicorate 500, levera 500 daily
Also suffering from thyroid
Madication - thyronorm 75 mg
Now Kidney problem
Hb 7.8, pth 22.5, crect 4.7
pressure 120/80
Now doctor advised to take the below medication
1) Micera 5o injection every month
2) Encicarb 500 in seline 6 times every week
3) Revlamer 400 - once a day
4) Nodosis - 3 times a day
5) Rocatrol 0.25 once a day

Hello dear. From your description , she is suffering from chronic kidney disease. The treatment advised is good. I would like to add a few comments.
1. Please get iron studies and iron level checked also as adequate iron levels is a prerequisite for mircera injections.
2. review with your neurologist to adjust the dose of antiepileptics as kidney disease can cause abnormal level of these drugs.
3. Keep checking the urine output and kidney function test on regular basis as she may require dialysis in future.
