Suggest Remedy For Confusion And Slurred Speech After Taking Losartan

Question: Good afternoon
My mother woke after her second does of losartan with severe confusion, very slurred speech (incoherent) nausea, and diarrhea. She was getting better by noon and was due for her next does. About 1hour after her does, she was experiencing same symptoms. Today is much of the same. I haven't given her another does since yesterday at 1:30 but I'm not seeing improvement in her speech. How long will it be before Losartan clears the system?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Losartan never last more than 12-24hours!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about what you mom has experienced taking losartan. The description of the symptoms make it likely that they are caused by this drug. It normally leaves the system between 12-24hours.
I will suggest you report this to her physician and get a new medication to make sure that her blood pressure stays well controlled.
I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
