Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Main cause of muscle cramps is vitamin , calcium, electrolyte and trace elements deficiency . I think one should get vitamin D level along with calcium and electrolyte levels. If found deficiency of vitamin D then he can take vitamin D3 60000 IU weekly for 10 weeks. Multivitamin and trace elements supplements is useful. Drinking water and lot of fluid maintain hydration and is helpful. Streching excercises before going to sleep are helpful. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
