Suggest Remedy For Dazed Feeling While Suffering From Sore Throat And Fever

You should get her admitted to a hospital.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. Viral fever may be transmitted by close contact, and more specifically Swine Flu and MERS-CoV are the viral infections to rule out. In the current cases of Swine Flu high fever not responding to treatment is no longer a criteria. Get a throat swab done.
2. Cat linked bacteria such as Pasteurella and Bartonella are rarely known to cause infections in humans (zoonosis). Disorientation is seen in these types of zoonosis.
3. As she has grogginess, it is better to get her admitted to a hospital. Throat swabs and blood cultures should be done along with other routine investigations.
4. Viral fevers have no specific treatment, only supportive care and most zoonotic infections respond to common antibiotics. Hence she should recover but you will not be able to clinch the diagnosis or prevent a relapse if she is treated at home.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
