Question: I have a dent around 2 inches long running from my forehead towards the middle, I occasionally feel like there's pressure behind my forehead and under my ears. Should I be concerned and get it checked out?

Brief Answer:
Sinusitis needs to be ruled out...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

After going through the history I do understand that you could be suffering from sinusitis which requires a complete evaluation of the nose and the ears.

Also an X-ray of the sinuses can throw some light on the status of the sinuses and presence of fluid or polyps inside the sinuses.

Hence, it would be wiser to consult the doctor and get examined rather than waiting for the things to get settled by itself.

Hope I have answered the query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.

Thanks for your time, Its not the pressure that is worrying me its the large crack/dent that has appeared in the top of my head its almost as if my skull is seperating, could this be caused by sinus?

Brief Answer:
The dent formation is not because of sinusitis...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing back

I sincerely apologize for the delay in answering the query.

The formation of the dent in the skull is definitely not because of the sinusitis. The formation of the dent may be due to excess deposition of the mineralized bone around the metopic suture (the line fusing both halves of the skull).

Hope this clarifies your doubts.
