Brief Answer:
Time to go in for an evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXXX,

Vomiting and diarrhea can be caused by a number of things. In the US, if it has been going on for more than a few weeks, it is less likely to be from an infection but is still possible.

I would advise you to be seen for an exam in person, so that the doctor can see if you have lost weight, if there is any jaundice, feel over your bowels and other digestive organs including your liver. Then he or she is likely to order some tests. Since the diarrhea has been going on more than 3 weeks, it is time to gets some stool studies such as stool cultures. This involves collecting stool in a special container which will be sent to the lab for analysis. The doctor will also likely get blood tests including tests to see how your pancreas and liver are functioning and a complete blood count to look for infection. They also should do a blood test for Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). Depending on your exam and these tests, your doctor may also want to have further evaluation done. These can include a colonoscopy, an upper GI endoscopy (both involve sedation and visualizing your lower or upper digestive tract with a thin scope). Or an abdominal CT scan. But the first place to start is with an exam, so I would strongly suggest you make an appointment with your doctor.

Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification. I hope you are feeling better soon.
