Brief Answer:
Varies from person to person

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

Slight spotting may last for 1more month and stop in most postpartum ladies.. Since she is breast feeding she may not have periods for another 6 to 9 months..This is because of the hormonal variations in the post delivery periods..

The periods will normalise once breast feeding is stopped.. Once hormonal levels come back to normal, she will have normal ovulation and normal periods.. No need to take treatment for this..

Hope I have answered your query.. Feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..

Hi,
Thanks for writing..

The effect of hormonal changes varies from person to person.. In some the initial bleeding will last for only 6 weeks.. In some it will be upto 3 months..

Similarly some will not have periods for nearly a year but some will get period in the 6th month.. These all are normal.. Dont worry..

During this time chance of pregnancy is less but there are many reported pregnancy inspite of women not having periods.. So it would be better to use condom while having sex.. Pregnancy is not desired for 2 years in caessarian patients.

Hope I have answered gour query.. Good day..
