Question: Hello Doc,

My wife had an ipill on 31st October. She started to bleed from 3rd Nov which lasted for 4 days. We understood that it was withdrawal bleeding cause by ipill. Now today again she is bleeding with clots. It's almost 19 days now. What could be the reason? Is it still the cause of the pill?

Thanks!

Brief Answer:
Most likely a side effect of i-pill.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your wife health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
The bleeding can be most likely due to side effect of i-pill because it may cause hormonal disturbances which may last for 2-3 cycles.
So do not take much stress and it will resolve by its own.
If bleeding persist for long than consult a Gynecologist for the same.
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.
