Brief Answer:
It might be due to uncontrolled diabetes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

In diabetics there can be ratinal damage if sugars are uncontrolled... ratina is the part of eye which i concerned with vision and that includes colour vision too so may be thats because of diabetic effect to your eye.

1)Have you got your HBA1C done recently?
2)What meds are you taking for diabtes?
3)What are usual sugar values of yours and what are they when it shoots up?
4) Got a detailed eye checkup by eye specialist? for retina?

Waiting for your input.

Regrads.

Brief Answer:
You should make a 5 days monitoring chart of sugars.

Detailed Answer:
hello ,

Thanks for replying.

If there is just one episode like that in the whole day and gets better with eating it means there is some time in a day when some how your sugar levels rise or fall significantly which makes you feel strange and have his visio change,

I would suggest you to do two things ...

1) Keep a close check at you sigar levels specially before meal ..2 hour after meal and when you feel anything strange immediately check your sugars.

2) Get HbA1C test done.
3) Discuss with your primary about an eye consult and get a detailed checkup of eye sight and fundoscopic checkup to rule out retina damage.

Don't panic there is nothing much to worry about immediately as yet but this needs ti be checked up and followed up properly and not.to be neglected.

Hope you had a great weekend.

Stay blessed.
Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
