Suggest Remedy For Frequent Bowel Issues And IBS
Question: hi doctor, i am 54 years XXXXXXX lady. i am always suffering from stomach trouble. always having a tendency to pass stool. sometimes it is so severe that i have to take antibiotic at least thrice in a year . i have consulted many doctors, many tests done , but of no use. doctors are telling that i m suffering from IBS. i have taken many proprebiotics, when i take these , i feel a bit better, but when stopped again the symptoms come. my life has become hell. no doctor could cure me. i am not diabetic, i m taking betaloc 25 for high BP, BP is under control with this medicine. but due to stomach trouble i cant enjoy the life, always there is an uneasiness. now i m almost sure that i will never b cured and i hate to consult doctors for the same disease frequently. my kidney profile test are also perfect, i dont have thyroid problem or anemia. as a last resort i have written to you , can u help?regards

madam it is mostly diarrhea predominant .
I had upper GIT endoscopy 4 times ,last one was done during 2009, but as far as i remember nothing was detected.
i am a working woman in a responsible post, my husband is quite sick with cardiac problem and ankylising spondelitis ,my son stays far ,there were many stressful situation in my life which still exists and cannot be totally eliminated.
madam i have send some clarifications sought by you, but no reply has been received yet,my problem remain unsolved.please

You need an early Oral therapy with IBS agents and Anxiolytics.
I generally prescribe Oral pills of ALOSETRON 0.5 mg one tab twice a day for 4 weeks. Additionally Tab NEXITO FORTE one tab at bedtime for 3 months will largely control your symptoms.
Please check with your doctor if he shares my view and if can prescribe the same to you.
