Brief Answer:
Palmar hyperkeratosis; ammonium lactate based moisturiser+topical steroid
Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thank you.
She has hyperlinear palms i.e increased number of lines which is a sign of dryness and hyperkeratosis/ thickening of skin of palms.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest that she uses an ammonium lactate based moisturiser (Amylac cream Or Am-lactin cream), twice daily.
Alternatively for an initial period of 2 weeks, she may mix an equal amount of a potent topical steroid cream e.g clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream with the moisturiser (1:1) and apply, twice daily. Thereafter she may just continue with the moisturiser.
She may also take a syp of cetrizine, 5 ml, once or twice daily for symptomatic relief from itching.
