Brief Answer:
It's normal for blood pressure to increase, uptitrate medication to contro

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX I am Dr Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
Yes it's natural for blood pressure to rise post TAVR
Now why does it rise?
TAVR is done for aortic stenosis, so when your mom had aortic stenosis, it meant that the heart could not pump enough blood through the narrowed valve even if it wanted because there was no good opening , now that pumped blood constitutes the systolic blood pressure, so post TAVR we relieved the narrowed valve, so now the heart would be able to pump enough blood according to body's need, leading to higher systolic blood pressure. So it's natural for the pressure to be high
Again I reassure that it's not really on very high side to be worried.

So how do we control it?
Just titration of the dose of various antihypertensive would do the magic. Our aim would be to bring it in 130-140 range

The pulse mentioned is perfectly ok, no need to work on that.
So increase the dose of any one drug, I may help if you can send me the exact schedule and the pressure will come under control.
Regards Dr Priyank Mody.
