Question: I had a bone graft done on one of my tooth implants. It got infected. I was prescribed penicillin, took full dosage and it did not work. Doctor wanted to remove the implant but I wanted to try again so he put me on Clindamycin HCL 300mg on 10/3. Took full dosage and thought it was healed, however after 1 week it felt tender. Being that I was schedule for a Tummy tuck and lipo on 10/28, I called and asked the dentist if I could get more antibiotics to help heal this before my cosmetic surgery . He has me back on Clindamycin again which I started taking on 10/24. It seems to be helping and the tenderness is gone. My cosmetic surgeon wants me to take Gabapentin 300mg caps 2x, celebrex 200mg caps 2x, and Doxycycline 100mg 1x, one hour before surgery. Is this safe to take with the Clindamycin also? I feel fine now and I am 72 years old.

I JUST WANT TO BE SURE IT IS SAFE TO TAKE ALL THIS MEDICATIONS AT THE SAME TIME AND IT IS SAFE FOR SURGERY. THANK YOU
