I have gone through your query. Anusol is hydrocortisone cream which is a corticosteroid. Betnovate is also a corticosteroid cream. Your problem can be due to fungal infection or dryness. Using corticosteroid alone can make fungal infection worse. You can use ointments with combination of anti fungal like miconazole and corticosteroid like hydrocortisone for local application. This is available as over the counter in brands like daktarin.
Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area. Instead you can use saline or warm water for this. Sits baths also is good.
