Thanks for the consultation at my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns today and will put my best efforts to get you out of this situation.
Your Lumbar spine curvature ( kyphosis) plus lumbar and sacroiliac joint degenerative changes are all affecting and compromising the musculoskeletal tissues associated with spine and thighs and hips.
Compromised blood supply due to arteriosclerosis of the major vessels supplying the lower limbs. This may be due to advanced age, deranged lipid profile over prolonged time, smoking and alcohol consumption. It all causes the problem with proper blood circulation when needed during prolonged walking. It is when there is more demand than supply due to stiff vessels.
Nerves have a trophic effect on the muscles and if we have a compromised nerve supply of some group of muscles, it may cause a decreased muscle strength and endurance is affected.
There is another issue that may cause the problem and that is low hemoglobin or RBCs counts. It also causes the same weakness and loss of energy on long distance walking.
Diabetes also may cause the same issues of lack of endurance and energy.
Low levels of vitamins may also cause such issues.
Diagnostic tests needed:-
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel.
CBC with ESR and Differentials.
HbA1c Levels.
Vit. B12 Levels and Vit D levels.
Improve your diet and keep a regular stretch exercises. You need to go for the lab tests and once we have reports we may say with surety what the cause may be. Treatment goes accordingly.
