Suggest Remedy For Leg Stiffness Post Knee Replacement Surgery

Component size may not be accurate, recommend physiotherapy
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Being part of at least one hip/knee replacement a day, I would like you to know that there are a lot of calculations that go into a replacement. The bone sizes are calculated prior to the surgery, which are not always accurate.
Once we go about a trial and error with the components we have to make sure the size fits your joint just well, only then we go about placement of the actual components.
Some times, the individuals joint and bone size can cause a bit of a confusion given the various component sizes we have to our exposal. Not only that, but the components may not always fit perfectly, resulting in some amount of restriction. In my opinion, the most likely cause for the prevention of complete extension is the use of the improper component size.
But I would also like to recommend some amount of physiotherapy, because I am sure this will greatly help. I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
