To recapitulate: Female/*99 years - 3 inch mass in the left breast - bleeding and then leaking a clear fluid - wants to know treatment.
Treatment will depend upon the the following factors:
May I please know a few more details:
Since when is the lump present - whether a few days or more than weeks and months?
- Any associated symptoms of fever, chills, pus coming out of the wound?
- Any mass in the axilla?
- Any knows investigations done of the blood, of the mass like FNAC or biopsy?
- Any other information you would like to share?
I would advise you the following considering the age of the patient and the bleeding of the mass:
Continue control of bleeding with compression bandage.
To take the patient to the ER as may need to be seen by a Doctor and a few stitches put-in if there is a large vessels that is not getting controlled.
To get the clinical evaluation, examination, investigations of the pus, FNAC, biopsy if required.
There may be a need of an antibiotic and additional medicines as per the appearance of the mass.
