default
Posted on Tue, 12 Jan 2016
Question: I have had a hard, slightly uncomfortable if I apply pressure, lump in the side of my penis. When erect it now curves up at the end and is smaller than the rest, like its not getting blood like the rest. What is it, and what can be done? I dont have insurance...are there home cures? Im not sexually active, but would like to be some day. Im 53.

Brief Answer:
Peyronie's disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It sounds like you have Peyronie's disease. In this condition scar tissue forms and causes a bend in the penis. This does not cause problems in some men but in others it can cause pain and trouble with maintaining erections.
Here is a site where you can learn more about it

There are no home treatments, but if you are not having problems then you may not need treatment.
If you are having pain or problems with erections then you will need to see a urologist for consideration of medications or surgery.
I hope this is helpful to you
