Suggest Remedy For Lump On The Collar Bone
I checked with a general practician as well as an orthopedic specialist, and they both asked me to ignore it, but i still feel worried because i had an MPNST tumor 4 years ago. Last MRi and CT scan 8 months ago showed no abnormalities.
Any advice?
Has to get a definite diagnosis ASAP
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query
Noted your history of MPNST 4 years ago and hence your concerns about this lump below the collar bone which is less than an inch, hard, XXXXXXX and non-tender is very well understood.
You have already consulted a GP and an Orthopedic Surgeon who asked you to ignore it.
But the MRI and CT was about 8 months ago.
I would advise you to consult a Surgeon who treated you for MPNST, get an FNAC under the ultrasonography guidance to see the nature of the tumor so that the worries are reduced by getting a proper diagnosis and the plan of treatment can then be charted well.
