Suggest Remedy For Metallic Taste In Mouth While On Clarithromycin Antibiotics
Question: I am taking clarithromycin antibiotics for chest infection 5th day today on 500mg twice a day. Had a metallic taste in my mouth since day one but this is listed as a common side effect but this morning I have really tingling lips - should i stop taking the meds.

Thank you I will take your advice, the course I have been given is for 7 days so will persevere but is the 5 days enough to stop any risk of antibiotic resistance as they are so strong they frighten me and have read a clinical trail on line saying no difference was found in benefits between 5 days to 7 days. So is it Ok to stop after my 5th day today. thanks
