Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood the problems of GERD, the medication you are taking.
Over the years you can't tolerate the food and spices you loved the most.
Your history says you never tolerated some foods. Now it is added on by spices.
This indicates that you have developed intolerance to certain foods and constituents.
It is possible that the GERD is increased.
I would advise the following in such a situation :
First of all stop all the food stuff that is causing the problem.
Upper GI Endoscopy to review the situation.
Adjust the medicines according to the findings.
Control of stress and /or anxiety if you have.
Small frequent feed of soft bland diet, now as a part of therapy.
Early dinner.
Avoid all foods and beverages that instigate or increase the problem.
Follow the instructions of your Gastroentrologist.
Hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant query or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Yes. it is possible.
Detailed Answer:
You are absolutely right, long term Prevacid can certainly cause so many problems, although not well researched or not documented, it will affect the digestions negatively as there is no acid for the purpose it is made by the stomach.
Yes it is possible.
All the material is available on the net.
Please try the above therapy and let me know if it helped or not.
Have a great day.
