Suggest Remedy For Negative Pregnancy Tests When Having High Basal Body Temperature
Question: My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 6 months. This month my doctor put me on progesterone p.o. at night for cycle days 17-28. I stopped taking the progesterone 3 days ago, I am now 3 days late with negative pregnancy tests but my basal body temperature remains high. I called my doctors office and they said to wait a week for a blood test. I keep reading conflicting information about when to expect a period when taking progesterone. I would like to know if I should go ahead with a blood test or is it normal for a period to be late after taking progesterone.
