Suggest Remedy For Night Sweats And Odour In Hair
Question: For about the past week, my hair has smelled like perm solution. The odor is so bad it wakes me up at night. I haven’t had any chemical treatments on my hair and I rarely use product. I washed it again twice today and it still stinks! I have also been having terrible night sweats. I am a 28 y/o female. On no medication, no diet changes.

No other symptoms really, except some recent weight gain. I do have the Mirena IUD, just had a second one put in last year - so had it for about 6 years.

So it is not likely to be the Mirena as you have used it for 6 years now, but the weight gain also implies it could be hormonal cause. You will have to do the test to know if there is a imbalance and then if so, then specific treatment can be given.
Do you have family history of thyroid problems, or Premature menopause?
