Suggest Remedy For Numbness In Foot After Sitting For Long Time
This is a continuation of the queries over disc bulge i had asked you over the past couple of weeks.
Today , I had sat in a car from office to a hotel for about 20 minutes. The seats you know are obtuse in nature .. I did my best to sit , by making sure buttocks and lumbar region touches the seat behind. By the time i reached the destination in about 20 minutes , I found my right foot to be EXTREMELY NUMB .. I mean i could barely put the foot down and could hardly feel anything. After about 5-10 minutes the numbness gradually faded and disappeared.. In normal upright seating and walking, the discomfort level is quite low compared to unusual cramped up positions. PLease advise some means / exercises by which i can ush or realign the disc. I have about 22 hr flight journey on Aug 25th .. Will i be able to get through such a gruelling journey with such a condition at hand ?? I am doing backbend, proneups every now and then in an effort to push the disc back and away from the nerves.
Can rgaining the lost lordosis be a good solution to the nerve impingment symptoms that i have ???
I wanted to understand one thing. MRI does show mild bulge / impingement, but is there a possibility of having other rootcauses for my symptoms ?? Can the herniation itself NOT be the cause of my symptoms. ? In that case, what are the other possibilities that diagnosis can fall into based on MRI images ?? What are the oter possible tests that can be conducted to ascertain the exact cause ? Since i have heard that even normal ppl may have disc bulge/herniations without having any associated symptoms.
Also i feel that i think about the condition excessively. Could this be delaying the healing ?? My subconsious just doesnt want to disengage from paying attention to pain/tingling. How can i tackle this psychologically ?? Any leg irritation just seems to be overriding everything other thing my mind is occupied in ... PLease HELP MEE ...
