I was applying fem face bleach to my face, using my finger. Apparently there was a cut in my finger, which I had nt noticed. And the entire top part of my finger hurts bad. This was last night, and it still hurts. There is no visible change, just pain.

Brief Answer:
Wash the area gently and do not use the hand.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young lady,

Welcome again to the forum and thanks a lot for your swift response with details of the problem.

In your case the bleach has caused burn inside the cut area and probabaly still some part of chemical is still causing irritation and pain.

As there are no any visible changes on the skin so I is nothing to be worried about the same.

Though majority of these kind of problems can be managed by gentle and thorough washing of the area. But sometimes if the pain doesn't subside then off the counter I suggest to dip the finger in cold water for 15 to 20 minutes.

A cream containing Fluticasone with Mupirocin can be applied over the affected area for two times and a pain killer tablet such as paracetamol can be taken.

I reassure you that the condition is quite common and can be easily managed. Do no use the same hand for next 12 hours for any kind of kitchen and bathroom work. You will be alright soon.

I hope these informations will help you. I will be glad to answer any further queries.
