Brief Answer:
Adhesions may the cause of pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
The organs that are present in the right lower side of the abdomen are Terminal ileum, Caecum , lymphnodes. Omentum may come there depending on the disease.
As you had previous abdominal surgeries, there are chances of Adhesions in the abdominal cavity. This will cause pain. The pain will not be continuous.
If there is infection of the ileum and caecum, antibiotics are sufficient. You can continue with the medicines you are taking now.
As you had endometriosis earlier, chances of uterine tissue over the bowel can be a possibility.
You can.ask for CT Scan abdomen.
You can also go for Diagnostic Laparoscopy, where in the abdominal cavity can be visualised.
Hope I answered your query.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

I have asked for a CT, but, was told it was not necessary due to the fact, I had several before. Also, several doctors who were surgeon's have refused to do a lap scope, as they said it was too dangerous as I had so many surgeries in the past.

Adhesions have now been ruled out due to the inflammation of the fesses, and the calprotenia being so high, then coming down.. So, I will wait for the results of the last test to see where it is sitting now.

I have been taking the pain pills until I get a respite from the pain. I'm seeing the specialist at the end of the month he will advise further..

Brief Answer:
Let me know the specialist advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As you are meeting the specialist, let me know his opinion.
In diagnostic Laparoscopy,Small 1cm incision is given near bellybutton, a scope is passed and the abdominal cavity can be visualised. Though you had previous surgeries, an experienced Laparoscopic surgeon can do this.
Please ask your specialist for this.
Wish you good health.

I have gone over this issue many times with my specialist. He does not do surgery himself, but, he referred me to a bowel surgeon. I saw him 3 times, and he out rightly said their is no way thy can do the lapascopy as it would be too dangerous on me, and they were concerned of a perforation of the bowel. Now I'm asking could I have that portion removed, that is the part that is causing the pain. I think the pain is coming from a back up of waste trying to get thru the illiumn. I'm told that so far there is nothing more that can be done, but, I am please he will still see me and discuss my medication schedule and general health.

Brief Answer:
There should be some pathology to be removed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
There should be some pathology in the bowel like Polyp or swelling to remove the portion of the bowel.
The exact cause of the pain has to be Known. Then ,we can think of excision.
Unless a definitive lesion is diagnosed, Surgery cannot be done.
Hope I answered your query.
Wish you good health

no, there is no pathology so far that has shown to be swollen to cause the inflammation. I'm told it's the general intestine in the area and the opening of the ilium that is causing the inflammation. Otherwise no other part of the bowel is affected.

I APPRECIATE THE FEEDBACK I HAVE BEEN GETTING FROM YOUR WEB AND FEEL MORE CONFADIEND IN APPROACHING MY SPECIALIST. many THANKS.

Brief Answer:
Nice to hear that every thing is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
It's nice to hear that everything is normal.
Terminal ileum will open into Caecum through Ileocaecal valve. There will be some amount of pressure there. Inflammation in that area can be reduced by medicines.
Thanks for the compliments to the site.
Please feel free to consult.
Wish you good health.
