Suggest Remedy For Pain During Urination And Clear Discharge From Penis

Question: About three months ago I had a visit to the doctors for a discharge from the penis. The discharge was clear in color. At the time it would hurt to urinate and extremely painful to ejaculate. I got tested for all STDs and everything came back negative. They gave me antibiotics and everything went away. A month later I started having dull aches in pains in my testicles, abdomen, and lower back. The aches would come and go and were not extremely dibillitating so I let it slide. About 3 weeks ago the aches got a little worse. About 1 week ago I discovered a 1/4 by 1 inch long firm yet spongey lump in between my lower scrotum and leg. It is sore to the touch and not red but slightly swollen. Its is on the creves of both my leg and scrotum and almost works it way up my scrotum. What could this be? Its beginning to become a concern. I do not know if any of my symptoms such as the discharge and sore testicles are connected but I wanted to know if anyone could offer some insight to what this could be.

Brief Answer:
Possible Acute Epididymitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your query and concern.

You seem currently have features of acute Epididymitis, which is a sequel of unresolved urethritis which you had earlier in the form of penile discharge.

The spongy swelling of size 1/4*1 inch which you are perceiving is the inflamed epididymis head with a possible abscess formation.

This swelling is typically located at the top of the testis, nearer to groin crease.

You need an effective treatment before the infection spreads to testicles.

I advise you to have a Scrotal Doppler Ultrasound to detect and confirm the exact pathology and diagnosis along with complete blood counts with urine culture and sensitivity.

Meanwhile empirical antibiotics like Tab Doxycycline 100 mg PO bid for 10 days along with tab flexon one tab twice a day will help.

Scrotal support and elevation with ice packs also helps to offer comfort.

Please note these drugs have to be taken under strict medical prescription.

Thank you.
