Brief Answer:
oxaliplatin can cause severe neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Oxaliplatin can sometimes cause severe neuropathy. The treatment is primarily symptomatic and wait for natural recovery.

There are good medicines available for controlling symptoms, like gabapentin, pregabalin, amitryptilline, nortryptilline, etc. They need to be prescribed in proper doses and combination to attain efficacy.

I think you should get in touch with your physician again. He can make necessary modifications or refer to a pain specialist.

Hope this helps.
