Question: My 4 year old (about 40in tall and 30lbs) has been complaining about his neck hurting but only when he gets out off bed in the morning or nap and after awhile he is fine. Also been running a low grade fever off and on (99.5) and have what it looks like fever blisters on his lips. Should I be concerned?

Brief Answer:
Neck pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
The symptoms you describe are common in pediatric viral illnesses. These typically last 7-10 days before they resolve on their own. It is noyhing to worry about. If the symptoms persist beyond 7-10 days, or they worsen over the next 2-3 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor.
