Question: 5 days ago while placing PJ'S in drawer 2-1/2 ft from floor, a popping noise occurred in my sacrilliac left side.
Went to urgent care as suggested by dr.ofc. X-rays revealed nothing remarkable.
Couldn't walk well or assume certain positionsfor 3 days w/0 that harsh grabbing pain that left me frozen in place as on the initial occurrence. That unbearable grabbing pain is now subsided.no pain while lying down.after standing for 15 min. Or less, aching in groin and fatty tissues of belly takes me down. I've had fusion in L5,s1 back feels weak as if broken Can't stand really straight but that seems better today..
10'yrs ago at Baylor. Life has been awesome since. Until now. What path do I need to follow?

Brief Answer:
need MRI of spine and to see spine specialist

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Your pain sounds serious. An xray shows abnormalities of the bones only. It is not good for showing up soft tissue damage or nerve impingement. Since your pain is so severe and you have had back surgery in the past, I think you really need an MRI of your spine to see what may be causing such severe pain and disability. Until you can get seen by a spine doctor and get an MRI use ice alternating with heat on your back and take the muscle relaxants and pain medications that you have. I do not think physical therapy would help at this point and they probably would not touch you unless you had an MRI first anyway.
Try to see your doctor as soon as possible and ask for referrals to spine specialist and for an MRI.
I hope you get some relief soon
