Suggest Remedy For Pain Post Pelvic MRI

Question: I am a 36 old virgin. I have never even used a tampon. Because I have excessive periods that last 6-8 weeks, the doctor wanted me to have a pelvic ultrasound. The abdominal one went fine. But the technician could not get the probe all the way inside. It hurt like hell but I tried to shut my mouth and tolerate as much pain as I could. The technician stopped b/c he thought it was too much. Thank God he made the call himself. Once before a gyro tried to get a speculum in but could not.
What are my alternatives to tranvaginal ultrasound? I have pelvic region pain all the time and I want to know what is going on with my periods.

Brief Answer:
Pelvic MRI

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Heavy flow and pain during the periods can be because of various reasons like fibroids, adenomyosis, or endometriosis.
If a transvaginal ultrasound is not possible, then a pelvic MRI can be done to confirm the diagnosis.
MRI is more sensitive in diagnosing the condition.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
