Suggest Remedy For Painful Chondrodermatitis Nodularis Helix On Ear
Question: I have chondrodermatitis nodularis helix on my ear very painful thought it was skin cancer they froze it I and it fired up bad I tried foam pillows all kinds is there any other home remedies I can do besides cutting it , it is very painful. Maybe a home remedy or just a second opinion

Conservative approach relies on measures to relieve or eliminate pressure at the site of the lesions(s).
A doughnut shaped pillow may help.
Changing sleep habits and discontinuation of gadgets like bluetooth ear piece, if that is a factor in you.
Intralesional steroid infections or topical steroids may be tried. Results are not guaranteed, however.
Cryotherapy has been successfully used.
Laser ablation is also an option as is electrocauterization.
Surgical treatment is the mainstay of treatment: curettage; excision; punch and grafting etc
The goal is to remove the affected tissue without compromising on the aesthetics.
