Brief Answer:
Muscle relaxants can be used

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Rheumatoid is a chronic inflammatory multi systemic disease that mainly targets the synovial cartilage and ultimately leads to erosions and joint deformations. Any measure that leads to a better quality of life with R.A should be continued. These include muscle relaxants and physiotherapy. You can discuss this option with your previous or new doctor. In my opinion there is no contraindication towards using muscle relaxants such as tizanidine and orphenadrine citrate in this scenario.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
