Question: I have a group of three bumps on the left side of my throat and had my tonsils removed when I was young. They do not hurt but seem to be very neutral and not grow over time. attached is a pic, thank you for your help in advance doctor.

I have gone through your query and examined the picture thoroughly. I am of the opinion that these bumps could be either tonsillar remnants or hypertrophied lymphoid follicles.

Do not worry! In the absence of pharyngeal tonsils, these lymphoid follicles enlarge whenever there is inflammation in the surrounding region. Drink plenty of warm water, you will feel better. Avoid chilled food and beverages.
