Suggest Remedy For Pimples On Face
Here goes the well tested approach
Detailed Answer:
Hi
You are welcome to this portal!
This is Dr V XXXXXXX and I am a Sr Consultant Dermatologist.
I have analyzed your concerns. For a person attending with me, I would have advised the following measures based on my long experience and the application of clinical knowledge to them:
1 let us treat the problems of pigmentation and that of scars as two separate entities.
2 If you are still getting pimples, then first of all, these need to be controlled as these become the root cause of further problems as observed by you.
3 For Pimples, you will do well with either oral antibiotics like Doxycycline or Minocycline along with locally used Clindamycin and good hygiene measures.
4 Please ensure that you do not pick the pimples and avoid triggers for their appearance, if known to you.
5 For pigmentation, the best way out is to use sunscreens and Retino_A 0.025% late evenings for smaller duration that can be scaled up gradually up to three hours a day.Antioxidants in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables and in medicinal formulations like Antoxid-HC do-help. Sunscreen should be worne daily from 1000 to 1600.
6 Scars need to be treated if they are bothersome. The decision to go for their treatment is largely personal. However, they are less likely to recover significantly without interventions like dermabrasion, laser, or sometimes surgery.
It is always better to not let them occur in the first place. Hence my emphasis on treatment for pimples which by picking and by deep skin involvement run the risk of leaving scars behind.
I am very sure that these suggestions will improve your skin tone, looks and you will feel healthier soon.
All our best wishes, always!

Hi
Welcome with the information shared by you!
It is good that there are no more pimples bothering you.
I would like to suggest few measures that are going to be of immense use in a case like yours.
1 Please wash your face regularly, several times a day.
2 Face wash can be used, but limit its use to once or so especially after outings.
3 Avoid sunexposure as much as possible.
4 Sunscreen to be used should be on a daily basis, indoors or otherwise, every season, and even on rainy/cloudy days.
An ideal sunscreen would have SPF of 35+. be noncomedogenic, and water resistant and should be applied twice at 1000 and 1300 hours
5 Antoxid-HC one tab per day would help in the long run (is an antioxidant preparation)
6 Retino-A 0.025% cream is another adjunct with great promise. It has to be applied after evening in small dose and thin layer to effected ares and for about one hour initially. Later on its duration of application needs to be upscaled. It works by removing top dead skin layers to reveal fresher skin underneath.
I am sure that now you can set out on the best path armed with the measures to do so and the expalanation thereof.
We would be happy to hear about your improvement.
Best wishes from our entire team!
