Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have red pimple underneath tip of the penis .This is due to inflammtion of Glans Penis (Ballanitis)

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem
1) Did you have unprotected sex before you developed this red pimple ?
2) do you have discharge from the penis ?

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Use topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin for local application .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

thanks doctor.

I did not have unprotected sex before this happened. It seemed to just happen yesterday evening after dinner; I felt mild irritation.

Also I don't see any discharge from the penis.

I wont be able to go to the doctor until Monday (2 days from now). But in the meantime, I can apply Neosporin. Is that ok? Or should I go immediately?
