nothing has changed in my diet. I am able to have bowel movements, but I did have one very loose stool. I have taken an anti gas over the counter. is there any specific over the counter medicine that I should take? I don't have any pain, other than the cramps that usually comes with gas. although I am passing gas, it only seems to have a little relief at the moment.

Hi back,
Ok, then, from what you are describing, it seems that you might have early signs of viral gastroenteritis.
I advise to:
- increase fluids intake
- take simethicone to ease gas
- take probiotics to optimize intestinal flora
- take antacids to optimize stomach pH, thus, reducing gas and distention.
- soak your feet in warm water
- apply warm compresses in your abdomen
If no improvement, then, should ask for immediate appointment with your doctor for specific evaluations.
