Dear Ms.
Some amount of wound collection and swelling at surgical site is acceptable and normally seen. In your case if it's normal or needs intervention depends on clinical examination. Providing clinical photograph for further assessment will be helpful.
So send me clinical photograph for further assessment.

Brief Answer:
There is no cause for concern
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms
Such amount of erythema(redness) is quite acceptable following surgery. Suture is foreign body and incites inflammatory reaction leading to occurence of mild redness which is very much acceptable. It should settle after removal of suture and there is no cause for concern.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
