Question: I'm suffering with teeth problem, mainly I can feel that my teeth are very sensitive to air. But I don't have any pain when I am eating any cold or hot food or drinks. Whenever I am opening my mouth to talk or smile, I am feeling this sensitivity as that time my teeth are getting in contact with air.

Brief Answer:
Attrition or abrasion, desensitizers, restoration

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query; I have gone through your query.

The sensitivity in the teeth on exposure to air is because of the attrition secondary to wearing a way of teeth enamel(due to bruxism or deep bite) exposing the underlying dentin where the nerve endings will be present. On exposure to air or cold this causes sensitivity.

The other possible cause can be cervical abrasion due abnormal brushing habits, which applies more force over the teeth and results in wearing a way of outer enamel.

Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can use topical desensitizing tooth pastes containing strontium chloride and potassium nitrate (sensoform or senolin).
If the sensitivity does not subside even after using this tooth paste for 15 days, you can consult an oral physician and get the abraded or attrite teeth restored with a filling cement material.

These are the possible diagnosis and treatment options based on your description. If you can upload the images of your teeth, I can give you the exact diagnosis and treatment plan.

I hope my answer will help you, take care.
