Brief Answer:
it is likely to be due to stone.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain on left side .

With previous history of stone disease it is most likely to be due to stone which is not impacted and causing obstruction to flow of urine (Non Obstructing) .

Severe pain ,vomiting or fever occur when there is gross hydronephrosis due to obstruction .

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis

Possibility of pain due to muscular origin can be thought for once the presence of stone is rued out by above tests.

In the mean while take pan killers like Diclofenac twice daily .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
