Suggest Remedy For Severe Abdominal Pain While Having Arthritis And Degenerative Disc Disease

Question: Have had stomach pain several days and nights now. It began with a very dark stool for a couple of days which preceeded any pain. Had been eating craisens as a snack for a couple days so thought they may have created the dark stool. Since stool cleared up no more dark stool but all this pain has me worried. I am not taking any pain killers but have been taking Pepto-Bismal and still no relief. Also hurts in middle of back but I do have arthritis and degenerative disc disease.

Brief Answer:
Stool and blood test to start with; pl give details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of stomach pain - began with dark stool which you thought as might have been due to craisens - now the stool color cleared but the pain remains - not taking pain killers - taking pepeto-bismal - pain in mid back but a known patient of arthritis and degenerative disc disease.

With this history I can think about the following:
Yours may be a sub-clinical case of enteritis.

I would advise you the following:
Get stool test and blood tests done.
If infection is present to take a course of antibiotic, probiotic, antispasmodic to get a relief.
If required to go for further tests and treatment.

Please tell me if you have any other symptoms like bloating, nausea, vomiting.
Any other medical disease that you have?
Any other information you would to share so that we can discuss further.
