Brief Answer:
You need to have MRI lumbar spine

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

Based on the history you have shared, it seems as if you have already been through alot. The way you have fought, with debliterating diseases like cervical cancer and MS, your determination and compliance to treatment is commendable.

The symptoms you are experiencing right now, can be many causes in your case. Though it can be sequalae of MS but it seems less likely, and at this moment first need to rule out is bone metastasis from cervical cancer. For that, you need to have MRI lumbar spine with contrast if renal function are normal.

MRI will also rule out any lumbar disc collapse or nerve compressions. Also that you have been on HRT which interferes with bone chemistry and thus any such electrolyte imbalance also needs to be ruled out. Simple Xrays of lumbar spine will also reveal some information of bone density which can later be confirmed on bone scan.

Meanwhile, you can use calcium and vitamin D supplements for a month or two and talk to your GP about more potent analgesics. You can even discuss about opioid skin patches and IV pain killers on as per requirement basis.

Hoping you a speedy recovery. If you dont have any more questions, please close the discussion. You can also reach me directly through my profile in future, in case of any more questions. Regards.
