Question: 29weeks pregnant and feeling dizzy all time my bp and sugar are normal my hemoglobin is 11 and my electrolyte levels are normal and i am taking iron supplements. dizziness started at week 20
Brief Answer:
No need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Dizziness is common in pregnancy due to the effect of progesterone hormone on the body and blood pressure.
If all your investigations are normal, then you neednot worry.
You should drink plenty of fluids( approximately 3-4 litres a day) , with some fluid consisting of salted lime water. Avoid standing for prolonged period and do foot movements several time while sitting, to improve blood circulation.
Hope this helps.

Dector i have been sick for a week now with cold cough and sore throat and when i went to the doctor they performed some blood test my CRP was high about 17.5 could this be normal and some times my heart rate would go up to 130
Brief Answer:
Increased heart rate should be evaluated
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
CRP is high in pregnancy, and it is a normal finding.
Increased heart rate needs to be evaluated.
You should get your thyroid hormone levels checked and an ECG done to confirm the cause of increased heart rate.
If the ECG is not confirmatory, then an echocardiogram should be done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
