Question: I have been battling extreme fatigue. Normal blood levels except vitamin D is at 32. Been supplementing for a little over a week. I feel as though it is getting worse and I have the heaviest eyes when I have terrible episodes of fatigue. What else could cause this?

Brief Answer:
Fatigue, likely nutritional deficiency, depression.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

i read your question and i understand your concern. Fatigue has multiple causes some are common. Anemia is on top in females. Followed by nutritional deficiencies like vitamin D in your case. Thyroid hormones imbalance, electrolytes imbalance and last but not the least depression are some of the commonest causes for this fatigue .

Nutshell, with normal labs excepts vitamin D deficiency, it appears low levels are causing fatigue. Continue iron, folates and vitamin D and calcium supplements and prefer diet rich in these micronutrients like fresh green leafy vegetables, fruits and sea foods and meat. Get evaluated for depression too as that may be simultaneously causing fatigue.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
