Brief Answer:
Scalp itching could be a part of the same process

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear

I have noted your details. I think that scalp problem could be due to the same process as the disease process tends to disseminate by immunological mechanisms and can cause itching from area away from the original infection.

As she improves, there is a likelihood that her hair fall will be arrested. At this stage, taking any medication for scalp use can delay the recovery. We will not leave it as it is but tackle the problem at the appropriate stage. Avoid combing or brushing when hairs are wet.

Hope this helps.

My best wishes to you and your sis.
